What will you do as Treasure Coast Food Bank’s Chief Development Officer? 

At the direction of the President & CEO, the Chief Development Officer, and in partnership with the Chief Impact Officer, the Chief Development Officer is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies and fundraising plans in support of Treasure Coast Food Bank's mission and goals. The Chief Development Officer creates and leads all elements of philanthropy and fundraising, along with all promotional aspects and avenues for the organization. This senior management position is directly responsible for achieving all fundraising and financial objectives and managing the overall performance of the entire Development team. This includes, but is not limited to, identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual, corporate, and foundation gifts, including major gifts, planned giving, special events, and direct mail.

  • Full computer proficiency with standard Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint and Excel and with fundraising and communications software 
  • Experience with food banks and the non-profit sector favored 
  • Experience with capital fundraising campaigns favored
